Hi Emily, I will definitely order your book and am looking forward to reading it.
I also hope you will keep on writing in your blog.
Question: Whatdo you think of fruit? I love fruit and eat quite a lot. Should I eat it with nuts to slow down the insulin response?
All the best

Monika,
I plan to keep the blog active. Right now is a very busy time, but expect some posts in the next few weeks.
Personally, the only fruit I eat regularly is berries. They’re very low in sugar and have a great nutritional profile. I don’t shun other fruits, but I wouldn’t say I eat them regularly. Tropical fruits are especially high in sugar. Fruit is fine as a treat, but I prefer all my fresh food to be vegetables. Eating fruit with nuts is a good idea, although it may upset some people’s stomachs due to the fact that fruit and nuts digest at drastically different rates. If it doesn’t bother you, I think it’s a good idea.
